Pete is an award winning creative director who’s had a hand in creating award winning work for award winning brands such as Volkswagen, McDonald’s, ESPN, Jet Blue and other award winning brands. His work has been awarded by numerous award shows and other award shows such as One Show, Cannes, Communication Arts, and D&AD. In addition to award shows and award winning, Pete doesn’t think awards are all that important, but has allowed this bio to be search engine-optimized as such, anyway.
Carlberg has written and directed over 750 television commercials, short films, documentaries and music videos. He has won more than 50 awards for short film and advertising in less than 50 tries (and he stopped trying after moving boxes of 15 lb. statues from his old studio). He is a veteran editor/shooter/producer with several additional years of experience in feature film visual effects on Academy-Award nominated features. Carlberg’s music video for Guster’s “Do You Love Me” was selected as iTunes Video Pick of the Week. and his more recent video for Guster’s “Endlessly” is way cooler than the number of views would suggest. Recent work includes the films for the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center’s “the one hundred” gala (theonehundred.org) and commercials for Aquaball.
